I’ve always been a daydreamer. When I was little, my mom would catch me talking to the moon as if she were my friend. I don’t remember those conversations, but sometimes I wonder what stories I told her, and what she might’ve said back if she could talk. This drawing captures one of my mom’s favorite memories of me, and I believe it’s a piece of the dreamer I’ll always carry.
